Hazel is a Salvadoran Environment and Development Engineer with a degree from Zamorano University, Honduras. She is currently a master’s student in Rural Sociology and International Agriculture and Development at Penn State. Her research interests are broadly found in the social effects of climate change in Latin America’s indigenous communities. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her friends and Honduran cat.
